The server selects 24 questions at random from the questions bank, much tougher than the actual multi-choice exam but a great test of knowledge. Don’t worry if your spelling is not great as our system takes account of spelling errors using a form of predictive text. You can take 25 of these tests.

Purchase and study the second edition handbook Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship. The test is based on chapters 2 to 6. At the same time join this site and work through our chapter revision tests after reading each chapter of the handbook. Then practice with all our mock tests and features.

The offical test and our mock tests contain 24 questions with 45 minutes allowed to complete the test. The pass mark will generally be in the region of 75%; this can vary slightly based on the questions asked. On our own mock tests we have set the pass mark at 75%.
